A Web

 

I saw this spider's web by my back door. It lacks the pattern intricacy my other spider web photo has. The webs interconnection of silk threads for trapping insects is so interesting.

A closer look at the silk threads of the web. I'm happy it is trapping insects before they come into my house.

A September rainbow here in Southern California.

 

I was very lucky to get the colors of the rainbow.

A Wisteria Vine

 

The Wisteria Vine blooms in Spring. It has beautiful pendent clusters of violet flowers.

Goldfinch

 

Goldfinch are attracted to a feeder with thistle seed, and finch mix seed. I put this feeder outside my kitchen window. It took about a week, before any Goldfinch came by. Sometimes there are as many as four birds at one time.

A Sweet Gum Tree

 

I really like the Fall colors of the Sweet Gum tree. So, when the meteorologist said the Santa Ana winds were coming, I went outside and took this photo.

I never saw clouds that looked like they were scalloped before. I thought they were so interesting and pretty. An artist told me the clouds looked like scales on a fish.

Turtle

 

Touche' is a turtle, but he is much more then just a turtle. Touche' has been in the Beam family for fifty years. Touche' is sweet and has so much personality. This photo shows Touche' coming out to say hello to family over on Thanksgiving Day.
